Don&#8217;t these\nbillionaires know that mandarins in government will embezzle this money?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They know&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, why are they not giving to the poor, themselves, you\nwonder. They won&#8217;t because they don&#8217;t care whether the poor live or die, so\nlong as you have the capacity for regeneration and their products find ready\nmarket, long term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You think those donations are about you? Or about the poor?\nNaaa, the masses have never been part of the equation, you are of no use to\nthese billionaires, they only give those monies in your name, not for your\nbenefit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By cutting those cheques for COVID 19 support, they have\ntaken out a cheque for the rainy day, they have gotten themselves a soft\nlanding with govt for any future infraction or past misdemeanour that is yet to\nbe uncovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They are now &#8216;friends of government&#8217; those who identified\nwith the seat of power during distress. In our clime of &#8216;rub my back, I rub\nyour back&#8217; they know if something should go wrong with their operations or\nprivate dealings tomorrow, they can easily call in for their line of\ncredit\/favor from govt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bureaucracy can easily rein in their agents or attack dogs\nonce push comes to shove.
