{"id":1288,"date":"2020-04-26T06:18:38","date_gmt":"2020-04-26T05:18:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/towncryyers.com\/?p=1288"},"modified":"2020-04-26T06:18:42","modified_gmt":"2020-04-26T05:18:42","slug":"health-workers-get-premium-life-insurance-cover","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/towncryyers.com\/index.php\/2020\/04\/26\/health-workers-get-premium-life-insurance-cover\/","title":{"rendered":"Health Workers Get Premium Life Insurance Cover"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thisday<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Health workers risking their lives in the fight against the\ncoronavirus pandemic have received premium life insurance cover to the tune of\nN112, 500,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Chairman Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, Mr.\nBoss Mustapha, announced the receipt of the massive insurance boost for the\nfrontline health workers during its media briefing in Abuja Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said the insurance cover was fully paid for by the\nNigerian Insurance industry in line with the principle of No Premium, No Cover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While thanking the insurance industry for the payment,\nMustapha, called on other sectors of the economy to rise up to support the\nefforts to fight COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He also appealed to the frontline health workers to double\ntheir efforts, while reiterating government\u2019s assurance and determination to\nprotect them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thisday Health workers risking their lives in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic have received premium life insurance cover to the tune of N112, 500,000.
