Yet, it is one of the most complex and\ncomplicated ones we will ever have as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We tend to put conditions on our love, often\nfeeling we are not worthy of loving ourselves until we are at our \u201cperfect\u201d\nweight, look a certain way, or are a certain shape or size. As babies we were\nin love with ourselves from the moment we caught our reflection in the mirror.\nStaring at ourselves smiling and giggling, mesmerized by the person staring\nback at us.&nbsp; We weren\u2019t looking at\nourselves critically and pointing out our flaws and imperfections. We accepted\nourselves wholeheartedly and loved ourselves unconditionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cSelf love, self respect, self worth there\u2019s a\nreason they all start with self you can\u2019t find them in anyone else.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u2013 Unknown<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That kind of unconditional love for ourselves is\nwhat we need to bring back. Accepting ourselves for who we are, where are, and\njust as we are is essential for living a healthy, positive, happy life, and for\nmaking any healthy permanent change. It\u2019s a daily practice of changing the way\nwe speak to ourselves, how we show up for ourselves, and who we surround\nourselves with. It\u2019s accepting our good bits, our not so good bits, and every\nbit in-between\u2026\u2026 and showing ourselves a hefty dose of compassion, grace and\nforgiveness along the way.
