If you were not insulted and angered by Buhari’s statement that Nigerians knows that his administration have done their best, then visiting Aro or Uselu would not be helpful. African leaders continue their misrule because of the silence of men and women who should have be screaming but choose to be silent out of fear or gain. Today, with all that is happening in Nigeria ranging from the current killings in Southern Kaduna and other parts of Nigeria and the mega corruption cases that are still unfolding even within the anticorruption infrastructure, Buhari still has the temerity to make such a provocative statement. If you are not provoked by this statement check your heartbeat, are you still alive? If you are not annoyed by such wanton disregard for Nigerians and Nigeria, check your thinking faculty because it might be experiencing hibernation. Nigeria’s emancipation lies in our hands collectively and we must act now before it is too late. This has become expedient because Buhari and his cabinet do not care. Buhari probably care about what is happening to Fulanis in Niger Republic than any other ethnic groups in Nigeria including Hausas. Again, if you think this is a controversial opinion then you have joined most Nigerians who have normalized the anomalies in the present administration where a pastor would be used to buy votes via Trade Moni. I am writing to those who can still reason along the line that Buhari has been our greatest mistake so far and we must take peaceful and constitutional steps to delete him from office. The Yorubas still considering Osinbajo should think again, he is unredeemable even if he is a minister in the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
We must constitutionally take matters into our hands. Our lives and children’s lives depend on it. We must not sit down and watch Buhari destroy the work of our heroes past. We must intervene fearlessly. This is an urgent pursuit because none of us is free or safe again. Kidnappers, bandits, and the bandits in the national assembly are daily committing criminalities that must be stopped. They cannot institute the change we desire because they created it and are benefiting from it. With what is presently happening the next generation will be called something worse than a wasted generation if we do nothing. At this point in time, silence is criminal and action is critical. We must act unanimously. No one should break the rank with a second thought that Buhari or Osinbajo can salvage the present situation when they feel they have done their best. On second thought, Buhari has actually told us we should look elsewhere for answers and solutions because himself and his team cannot do anything about our current situation because they have done their best. Herein lies our justification to act swiftly without any inhibition.
I remember the Babangida Must Go protest that rocked Nigeria and pressured Babangida to relinquish power. We didn’t follow up those protest till we got the type of government we wanted because of fear and favour. Today is a new day and history beckons on our generation to act. We must not fail ourselves and our children. We must collectively device ways to throw out this government constitutionally. There is no time. Who thought 2020 would meet us in such a mess where a man who showed clear signs of dementia and a past record of draconian misrule would get a second chance from one of the most educated people on earth? Many of us especially from the North and the South West have made this mistake. It is now time to correct this costly mistake. We must mobilize ourselves into a formidably team from local to national level. We must use all the constitutional arsenal at our disposal to dispose this administration filled with evil and unreasonable men who will not only sell their birthright and sovereignty but sell the future of us all. We must not allow this to happen. So, let the protest start. If you have mobilization experience during your student union days, put it to use. If you do not have, find someone who has and form a team. Nigeria is sinking everyday into the abyss and we will soon become unredeemable. So, let us rise and fight for our future while we can. If all you can do is share this article which is a call to action, please share until Buhari is history.

Yet many still blame our current woes on COLONIAL MASTERS, since when ? Almost 60years ago, such minds are quite very sick. Our leaders in Africa have done worse than colonial masters . May the remnant arise!
Dear Ella,
Thanks for commenting.
I absolutely agree with you.
Our leaders have definitely done worse with regard to the fact that these are our own people.
Thanks again.
Please share.
