When Pastor E. A Adeboye and Pastor W.F Kumuyi disobeyed the Federal government ban on the use of Twitter recently and Lai “The Lying” Mohammed announced that the two superheavyweight ministers will be persecuted, I expected Daddy GO’s son and Nigeria’s second citizen, Pastor Yemi Osinbajo to quickly say something. His silence has been very loud. And it reminded me of how the best-laid plan can terribly go wrong. Such was the planning by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Yoruba general overseers, Yoruba intellectuals, and Igbo apologists to repeat the Yar’Adua/Goodluck debacle. Today, Buhari is mentally and physically healthier than Pastor Yemi Osinbajo the man who wanted to succeed a dead man. And who was a willing tool in the corporation, conspiracy, and confederation set up by the Jaguda called Jagaban who installed stooges like Fashola, Ambode, and Sanwo-Olu and was primed to replay what has been happening in Lagos State in Nigeria and move one step further to become President.
It is amazing how a supposedly brilliant lawyer could become a plaything for evil and unreasonable men like as has been the case for Professor Yemi Osinbajo. The tragedy of Osinbajo’s story is that he is supposed to be the complete man – a technocrat, intellectual, and clergy who has seen it all. He is even married to the granddaughter of Obafemi Awolowo, one of Nigeria’s greatest minds and political heavyweights. Yet, with all these capitals, Osinbajo has served lesser men slavishly. No other time has this become obvious than today June 12, 2021. A day where police brutality is showing its monstrous head on protesters. A day that is supposed to be a celebration but is now a painful reminder of all that has gone wrong under the watchful eyes of Yemi Osinbajo and his boss. They inherited Africa’s most promising and prominent economy. They inherited a progressive plan to end insurgency that included setting up more educational institutions from Almajiri schools to Federal Universities to counter the Boko Haram philosophy of No To Western Education. Yet, they succeeded in engendering a retrogression that is unprecedented in the history of Nigeria.
If Osinbajo had any modicum of integrity or self-respect, he would have since resigned. But no, he and his most evil-minded accomplices are still hoping and waiting for a dead man’s estate. A man who from his last interview has shown that though he is still evil and unreasonable, notwithstanding he has enough gas to complete his tenure without Osinbajo succeeding him. He even went as far as telling Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his boys that they cannot teleguide him regarding 2023 from Lagos. And perhaps told Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to forget his second coming if he does not join APC. He made everyone including his vice president Osinbajo know that he has one mission – he belongs to nobody but his kinsmen and cousins in Niger Republic. So, whoever is planning to become the next President of Nigeria, know that this might be the last June 12 we ever experience as one nation. Your best bet is to learn from what is happening to Yemi Osinbajo, that no matter how loyal you are to an evil and unreasonable terrorist sympathizer, coup plotter, and Fulani herdsmen, you will always be seen as a herd.
