The former lawmaker urged all Ekitis to cooperate with the security personnel with an effort to make the state free of criminals and a safe haven for all.
“Though this incident was shocking and frightening, but I appeal to all Ekitis in diaspora not to be afraid of coming to Ekiti as Ekiti remains their Jerusalem, but instead to support in efforts to make Ekiti a safe haven for all”, he said.
However, the captives were released at Ikun Ekiti ,Moba Council area, on Tuesday night after spending four nights in the kidnappers’ den.
The daughter, Feyi, a masters’ degree student, is both a Lagosian and an Ekiti girl ,because the father was a Lagosian while her mother is from Ekiti.
