One half of the Psquare music duo, Peter Okoye, who is also known as Mr. P has responded to those criticising a recent act where he kissed a fan on stage.
The singer who is married with two kids had kissed an unidentified fan while performing alongside his brother, Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy at a recently sold-out concert.
The kissed fan could not hide her excitement while some other fans cheered as Mr. P returned to the stage to continue with their performance in a video that went viral on the Internet.
His action, however, received backlash from some social media users many of whom accused him of disrespecting his wife.
In reaction to the criticisms, the singer took to his Twitter page on Saturday to say that he is free to do whatever pleases him on stage including throwing his clothes, shoes into the crowd, as well as kissing.
Amidst the backslash, the singer in a tweet shared on his page averred that as an artist, he can throw his clothes, and shoes including kisses.
He said if nobody from his family is complaining about his action, why should people be pained.
Mr. P also advised his critics to allow him and his brother continue their music tour in peace.
He tweeted, “On stage! I throw my clothes, and shoes, and even throw good and passionate KISSES! No one from my family is complaining! No one from my family is complaining! Why e dey pain u? Pls, allow us to continue our tour in peace!”
