If you are asked, what is the probability that you will become a millionaire in dollars in the next ten or twenty years, most of us cannot bring ourselves to the point where we can envision ourselves as millionaires. When a question like this is asked, our mind that has been trained by us, immediately sees reasons why it cannot happen. We start thinking in a fraction of a second the multiple barriers or obstacles that will prevent us from achieving such a feat. Today, a man called Lebron James who is a single child raised by a single mum, is a certified billionaire. Yesterday, a woman called Rihanna who was not born in the United States is also a certified multi-billionaire who made her money via her talent.
In lawn tennis Serena Williams’ success, wealth, and greatness are well documented. Her father – Richard Williams, woke up one day and decided to train his daughters to become wealthy, successful, and great. He did it twice simultaneously with Venus also. Coco Gauff’s exploit in the recently concluded US Open was a feat that was planned and executed by her father, which shows that wealth, success, and greatness can be recreated, repeated, or reproduced. This feat is in continuation of similar achievements planned and executed by other fathers like the fathers of Lewis Hamilton of Formula 1 and Tiger Woods in golf. In every nation and community, you can find individuals whose family background was nothing to write about, but they changed that by the development and use of their God given abilities.
When Coco Gauff defeated Venus Williams at the Wimbledon Open four years ago, she announced herself as a great in the making. It eventually took another four years of hard work on Coco’s part and the full time support of her parents who started the process, to win her first Grand Slam title in 2023 at the US Open. These parents and individuals have proven to us all that success, wealth and greatness can be produced and reproduced intentionally. Sports is a good field of endeavor to measure or study how we can reproduce or manufacture our desired life or outcomes. This is because efforts and results can easily be seen and measured. So, know this, no matter how unrealistic your dreams are, you can intentionally produce and reproduce them.
